Tapas Acupressure Technique
The Tapas Acupressure Technique is adapted from the practice of acupuncture. The electrical signals for emotional and physical illness are locked into the body in the form of cellular memory. This means that patterns can be passed on from one generation to the next (e.g. anxiety, depression, allergens).  To release the pattern, three specific acupoints are held while you focus attention on seven different aspects of the issue. Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique is adapted from the practice of acupuncture. Emotional or physical trauma can be locked in the body along the meridian system. Each meridian holds an emotion and each meridian has a point that when stimulated corrects the disturbed energy patterns that might underlie the problem. You will be asked to recall a troublesome thought or feeling and are taught which traditional acupuncture points on your body to stimulate through tapping, rubbing or holding (rather than using needles). Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
The Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) method is based upon the hypothesis that negative life experiences or traumas upset the biochemical balance of the brain’s physical information processing system. This imbalance prevents the incident or trauma from being resolved. Instead, the incident or trauma is “frozen” in the nervous system in its original anxiety producing form, complete with theoriginal image, the emotions and thenegative beliefs about oneself. The EMDR methodology unblocks the brain’s processing sys¬≠tem, resulting in a diffusion of the traumatic imagery, a neutralizing of the negative emotions and a transformation of negative beliefs to neutral or positive beliefs.
